As most artworks available on our platform are original, unique, and created by independent artists, our return and refund policy is designed to ensure fairness for both buyers and artists.
Original Artwork Purchases
Due to the unique and collectible nature of original artworks, all sales are generally considered final once an order has been confirmed and dispatched.
We encourage customers to carefully review artwork details, dimensions, images, descriptions, and pricing before completing a purchase.
Eligible Returns
Returns may be accepted under the following circumstances:
- The artwork received is damaged during transit.
- The artwork delivered is significantly different from the artwork ordered.
- The wrong artwork has been delivered.
- The artwork arrives with substantial defects not disclosed at the time of purchase.
Any return request must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery along with clear photographs and supporting documentation.
Non-Returnable Items
Returns and refunds will not be accepted for:
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Personal preference regarding colours, style, texture, or artistic interpretation.
- Custom, commissioned, or personalized artworks.
- Digital artworks or downloadable products.
- Artworks damaged after delivery due to improper handling or installation.
Damaged Artwork Claims
If your artwork arrives damaged:
- Notify Aura Vista within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide photographs of:
- The damaged artwork
- Packaging materials
- Shipping box
- Retain all original packaging until the claim process is completed.
Our team will review the claim and determine the appropriate resolution.
Refund Process
Where a refund is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase.
Refunds are generally processed within 7–14 business days after approval and successful return verification.
Replacement Policy
Where possible, Aura Vista may offer:
- Replacement of the artwork
- Artwork repair assistance
- Alternative artwork selection
- Store credit or refund
The resolution will depend on the nature of the issue and artwork availability.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before shipment confirmation.
Once an artwork has been shipped, cancellation requests may no longer be possible.
Custom commissions, special orders, and personalized artworks cannot be cancelled once production or creation has begun.
Shipping Costs
If a return is approved due to an error by Aura Vista or verified shipping damage, return shipping costs will be covered by Aura Vista.
For all other approved returns, shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
Artist-Sold Artwork
Certain artworks may be sold directly by independent artists through the Aura Vista platform. In such cases, additional artist-specific return conditions may apply and will be communicated where relevant.
International Orders
International orders may be subject to additional customs duties, taxes, import/ export Regulations, and shipping restrictions imposed by local authorities. Such charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are generally non-refundable.
